Introduction

At MyCyberThreats we have always been clear that personal data belongs to people, regardless of the regulations and laws that protect this fact. If a person's data entrusted to a third party is part of an information leak, the person has the right to know, without any doubt and completely, what information of theirs is circulating on the Internet. Initiatives by other intelligence platforms to publicly disclose whether a person's email address is involved in an information leak are not only giving private information to the person, but to anyone who uses the service. Honestly, we would not like a stranger to know, simply by entering our email address in a search engine, that we like going to the gym or buying pizzas at a specific store, because it is implicitly providing fundamental information to a potential attacker: geographic information, hobbies, social media presence, and habits. For this reason, our free search engine only tells you how many leaks an email address is involved in, but never tells you which ones, until we are sure that you own that email, by authenticating with your email on our platform. Finally, you may notice that our search engine may show you in fewer leaks than other platforms. This is because we avoid the so-called compilations of leaks with millions and millions of emails, which provide nothing about the source of the real leak beyond the fact that your email address is in a supposed leak that never really existed. In contrast, we focus heavily on investigating micro-leaks of information that other platforms overlook. Thank you for using our service. MyCyberThreats Team.

Acceptance of terms

By accessing and using the MyCyberThreats platform, you accept these Terms of Use in their entirety. If you do not agree with any of the terms, please do not use the service. At the time of access, you will be asked to confirm two conditions to confirm that you authorize MyCyberThreats to search across all surfaces of the Internet for personal information associated with your email address.

Description of service

MyCyberThreats is a cyberintelligence service for individuals that detects cyber threats affecting them across the Surface Web, Deep Web and Dark Web. The service includes detection of credential leaks, exposed personal data, compromised financial information, and social media threats.

Platform functionalities

The platform offers the following functionalities: (1) Free search that indicates the number of leaks an email address is involved in, without revealing which ones until the user is authenticated. (2) Personalized dashboard with detected threats. (3) Full access to leaked data for Advanced and Family users. (4) AI assistant specialized in cybersecurity (Athenea) with limited queries depending on the plan. (5) Daily security alerts. (6) Family plan with 4 additional Advanced accounts for family members.

Products

The Free license is completely free for users by registering the email they want to monitor, with access only to the names of the leaks where we continuously find their email. It also includes two queries per month to Athenea, our specialized cybersecurity AI, non-cumulative monthly, and daily cybersecurity alerts of interest to the user. The Advanced license includes the minimum features of the Free license but allows access to all the data we find on the Internet related to the registered email address. Additionally, it allows up to ten queries per month to Athenea, our specialized cybersecurity AI, non-cumulative monthly. The Family license has the same conditions as the Advanced license but includes the ability to configure up to 4 additional email accounts with Advanced license, intended for family use. The Executive license has the same conditions as the Advanced license but additionally includes social media monitoring. This license is oriented towards company executives who have public exposure and want to protect their personal digital life. The Advanced, Family and Executive licenses have a cost for users in order to cover the operational costs of the platform. Changing the license from Free to Advanced, Family or Executive implies accepting the payment of that specific license.

GDPR compliance

MyCyberThreats complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union. We treat personal data confidentially and only with the authorization the user grants when registering. The user has the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, port data, and object to processing. To exercise these rights, you can contact us through the contact form available on this website. We do not publicly disclose to third parties which leaks are associated with an email address at any time, thus protecting the user's privacy against potential attackers.

User responsibilities

The user agrees to use the platform lawfully and not to use the information obtained for unlawful or malicious purposes. The user is responsible for the accuracy of the data provided during registration and for maintaining the confidentiality of their access credentials to prevent third parties from accessing their personal data. The user commits to paying the contracted license for the period established at the time of subscription.

Limitation of liability

MyCyberThreats is not liable for direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the platform or the information contained in it. The service is provided on a best-effort, non-exclusive availability basis for the user. We do not guarantee that cyber threat information is exhaustive or complete, as the OSINT intelligence sources used to provide the service may change without notice and we have no means to guarantee the accuracy and fidelity of the information found beyond the user's own verification.

Changes to the terms

MyCyberThreats reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. The modifications will take effect from their publication on this page. Users are advised to periodically review this page to stay informed of changes.
